![]() This handing over exercise which took place in the second week of November 2016 is part of the implementation of the Foundation’s Community Health Workers Project which focuses on building capacity of health training institutions so as to effectively implement the National Community Based Health Program Strategic Plan (2015-2020). Emmanuel Fimbo, the Principal of Ngudu Environmental Health Sciences institute Remmy Moshi, BMF’s Field Programme Coordinator – Lake Zone (left) handing over a laptop & LCD Projector to Mr. Mkapa Foundation (BMF) in collaboration with Tropical Health Education Trust (THET) handed over 10 laptops and LCD projectors worth 40,595,424.40 TSH to 10 Health Training Institutions (HTIs) located in Lake Zone Regions with the aim of elevating their teaching mechanisms hence increase production of community health workers cadres.
